In the toxic fog of endless sunshine and Hollywood hooligans, Los Angeles has always been the melting pot of society.
The photo series is a voyeuristic envision of a night out of a misfit who wanders the neon lit night scene of Sunset Strip, the Valley and East Hollywood.
In a city filled with mental illness, the tone of the photographs depict a dream state of West Hollywood and the undertone of urban decay and of how sinister it can be.
She is a complicated person and beautifully tragic, Like LA itself, the occupants of this wasteland invite tragedy into their life to feel like everyone else.
With original music from Jasmine ‘Elle est comme LA’, the lyrics describe the events of the night with a beat inspired by LA native band ‘The Doors’.
